- Brian has been a pioneering member of the Accessibility and Residential Elevator industry for nearly 35 years.
- Brian has successfully founded and co-founded multiple companies. He holds elevator contractor’s license in Arizona, Nevada and California, B – general building contractor and (4) C – specialty licenses and is a licensed Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanic (CCCM) in the State of California. As well as State of NV Elevator Mechanic.
- Served as Chairman of NAEC (National Association of Elevator Contractors) Residential Elevator Accessibility Committee.
- Founding member of Peer Group Associates (an industry focus group of elevator contractors)
- Founding Member and Past President of Symmetry Elevating Solutions.
- Founder & President of the Elevator Marketing Group – NAERS (National Accessability & Elevator Referral Service)

Bryan Vahjen
Originally from New Fairfield, CT, Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and brings over 17 years of sales experience to the Abbey team. He takes pride in clear communication, attention to detail, and making sure every job is done right the first time. Bryan is passionate about helping customers find the perfect elevator, lift, or dumbwaiter for their unique needs. When he’s not working, you’ll find him mountain biking, staying active, or exploring the Southwest with his family.

Meet Rufus von Doggendorf, our distinguished English Golden Retriever and beloved company mascot. With his calm demeanor and golden charm, Sir Rufus brings a welcoming presence to our team and customers alike.
As our Chief Morale Officer, he reminds us daily that great craftsmanship should always be matched with good character. Whether he’s greeting visitors, supervising showroom tours, or simply brightening the office with his tail wags, Sir Rufus embodies the spirit of trust, loyalty, and warmth that defines our company.
He may not operate elevators, but he certainly knows how to lift spirits.

A fourth-generation Arizonan, Destiny brings a deep understanding of both the construction and elevator industries to her role at Abbey Home Elevator. With a natural talent for project management, she ensures every job is delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional professionalism. Clear, consistent communication is one of her greatest strengths, helping customers and teams feel confident and informed throughout every step of the process. Outside of work, Destiny enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring mountain towns, and adventuring with her wonderful dog, Leonard.
